Summary
Provide independent advisory consulting and subject matter expertise. Determine clients' Finance, HR, Utility Billing, and Asset Management business needs for local government clients, develop requirements, specs, RFPs and facilitate the procurement process. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of IT and ERP systems consulting. 

Responsibilities
Work in a team dynamic, in close collaboration with client staff, in the assessment of existing enterprise systems, RFP development, procurement, evaluation, selection, and/or implementation of new ERP systems.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of ERP components, i.e., Finance, HR, Payroll, LMS, Purchasing, Contracting

  • Minimum 2 years' experience with government ERP consulting

  • Knowledge of Finance and HR business processes

  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills

  • Superb problem-solving and analytical abilities

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills


Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar

Project Managers

Summary

Provide independent advisory consulting and subject matter expertise establishing and employing formal project management methods and practices. Provide a standard and rigorous approach to plan, articulate, execute and manage projects adopting applicable facets of a formal methodology; ensure projects are defined and delivered in a consistent manner.  Employ best practice PM methods to ensures the delivery of products, services, and desired results – on/or ahead of schedule and on/or under budget.

 

Responsibilities

Work in a team dynamic, in close collaboration with client staff, in leading the entire project life cycle, including:

  • Project Charter

  • Project Planning

  • Work Breakdown Structures

  • Budget Estimates

  • Scope: phases, tasks/subtasks, deliverables, assumptions

  • MS Project Schedules and updates

  • Resource Allocation Plan, roles and responsibilities

  • Communication Plans

  • Risk Management Plans

  • Project Tracking & Monitoring

  • Monitor vendor contract compliance

  • Review project change orders

  • Project status reporting

  • Management status presentations

  • Change Management

  • Project Close Out

 

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of Project Management best practices, PMI PMBOK methodology, PMP a plus

  • Minimum 3 years' experience managing IT consulting and implementation projects for government clients.

  • Experience and a proven track record managing ERP, Utility Billing, Asset Management, Land Management projects of scale and complexity.

  • Excellent time management, organizational and leadership skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.

  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical abilities.

 

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Planning, or similar

Systems Specialist

Summary
Participate and assist senior technical professionals on various IT projects. Provide independent advisory consulting services to bridge business needs with technology solutions. Work with stakeholders and business process owners to develop requirements, specifications, RFPs, and assist in the procurement process.

Responsibilities
Work in a team dynamic, in close collaboration with client staff, on the following activities:

  • Conduct business and technology needs analysis

  • Determine end user and project requirements

  • Research Information Technologies and marketplace

  • Technical documentation and presentations

  • Identify possible process and technology solutions

  • Provide recommendations

  • Support marketing programs and activities

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of various Information Technologies

  • Minimum 1 year experience with government or private sector

  • Experience with business process assessments

  • Experience with Social Media platforms

  • Strong skills with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio

  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and writing skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
