City of Costa Mesa Continues Relationship with ThirdWave in Procurement of New Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Financial System
November 27, 2019
Costa Mesa continues its partnership with ThirdWave for the development of an ERP Request for Proposal (RFP) document and facilitating the entire procurement process through contract negotiation. The project will leverage ThirdWave’s 32 years of government procurement experience and expertise in articulating requirements, developing solicitation documents, facilitating vendor demonstrations/benchmarks, and representing the best interest of the City in contract negotiations.
The sole source contract comes on the heels of ThirdWave completing the City’s 5-year IT Strategic Plan & Roadmap, and was justified because of the knowledge gained in that project. The ERP initiative will employ ThirdWave’s copyrighted “ERP Procurement Lifecycle for Success” methodology encompassing Rapid Workflow® As-Is and To-Be business process workshops, detailed functional requirements and specifications, best practice solicitation documents, rigorous vendor evaluation and selection, and contract negotiations in the best interest of the City.
“Having executed the successful IT Strategic Plan for the City of Costs Mesa, we are thrilled to have been tapped for this vital enterprise system procurement and selection,” noted Sergio Hernandez, ThirdWave Executive VP and CFO.
