Helix/ThirdWave Partnership Continues for the Procurement of an Integrated Financial & HR Information System Solution

ThirdWave has been retained to continue our three-year PMO working partnership with Helix Water District, one of the most progressive water districts in California.
The second phase of a three phase program was kicked off on June 21. The District has established a budget of approximately $7.2 million for all three phases of the ERP implementation, which includes hardware, software, implementation services, project management, backfilling key district staff to support the project, overtime, and consulting services. The money set aside for the ERP Phase 2 for FY 2016-17 is approximately $1.6 million.
ThirdWave will work in close collaboration with Helix to select the ideal system providing the following functionality on a single seamlessly integrated platform: Finance: AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation, Check Disbursements, Cash Receipting, Purchasing, Expense Management, Project Cost Accounting, Contract Management, Inventory management, Budgeting and HR capabilities including: Position Control, Time Entry, Payroll, etc. The proposed system will also provide integration with other Helix enterprise systems including Utility Billing, an OnBase content management system, and NeoGov’s Insight cloud based application.
