City of Pearland, TX selects ThirdWave to develop IT Strategic Plan

ThirdWave was retained to conduct the City of Pearland, Texas’ Information Technology Strategic Plan (ITSP).

​

The City of Pearland is ranked the third-largest city in the Greater Houston area and was ranked the 15th-fastest-growing city in the US from 2000-2010. Located approximately 20 minutes from downtown Houston and less than 15 minutes from the Texas Medical Center and NASA's Johnson Space Center, Pearland offers the lifestyle of a small town with easy access to the Theater district, and Houston's many fine restaurants. Officially incorporated in 1959, the City has a pattern of high growth and continues to become an increasingly desirable location as the Houston-area grows.

The City of Pearland selected ThirdWave’s to develop a comprehensive Five-Year Technology Strategic Plan to guide the organization over the next five (5) years in planning and managing current and future investments and resources. The assessment will evaluate City-wide Information Technologies, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Cyber Security. The ITSP will provide a roadmap that is fiscally responsible, technologically strategic, and responsive to the needs of the Pearland community.
