City of Sacramento Selects ThirdWave as Partner on Developing City’s 5-Year Digital Strategy
April 29, 2014
Having a choice to work with any of the nationally recognized IT consulting firms located in the State’s capital, the City of Sacramento chose ThirdWave as its partner in developing the City’s Digital Strategy. The six month project, which began on November 4, 2013, will serve as the framework for how technology services will be delivered and managed throughout City for the next 5 years. Said Maria MacGunigal, the visionary CIO at the City: “ThirdWave was selected for this project over three other proposals due to their comprehensive project management methodology and information gathering approach, 25 years of experience in developing strategic plans, and past proven track record with other City of Sacramento projects.”
Hailed as the most comprehensive technology strategic plan ever developed by ThirdWave (out of 115 such engagements), Roy Hernandez (Founder, President and CEO of ThirdWave) noted that the City Manager’s vision of being the “Best Managed City in California” was the driving force behind the project. At the completion of the project, MacGunigal noted the following: “I am extremely pleased with the services provided by ThirdWave. Their vast experience in developing organizational IT strategic plans came shining through in delivering an exceptional product that the City will benefit from for years to come. Roy, you and ThirdWave team are truly remarkable and have been a pleasure to work with. Thank You!” The pleasure was all ours.
