
Transportation Corridor Agencies Retains ThirdWave for Business Process Review Consulting Services

Orange County, CA. ThirdWave was selected to carry out a business process review and needs assessment of the Transportation Corridor Agencies’ (TCA) Finance processes. These encompass accounting, budgeting and planning, reporting, business intelligence, and procurement operations, and related system needs. TCA are two joint powers authorities formed by the California Legislature to plan, finance, construct and operate The Toll Roads, State Routes 73, 133, 241 and 261 in Orange County. TCA’s two agencies are the Foothill/Eastern Transportation Corridor Agency and San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor Agency.
At 51 miles, The Toll Roads represent 20% of Orange County’s highway system. And, as the first tolling agency in the state, TCA developed the FasTrak® brand for electronic toll collection, which is now used on all tolled bridges, express lanes and roads in California.
ThirdWave will use our patented methodology to perform a business process review and needs assessment of TCA systems. This will entail identifying areas of improvement that could be managed. This will articulate functional and technical requirements formatted to be included in an ERP Request for Proposal. ThirdWave is honored to be selected for this highly coveted project, which covers key portions of Orange County. ThirdWave is pleased to add the Transit Corridor Agency to our 30 transit clients.
