City of Ventura Awards ThirdWave Key IT Strategy and Roadmap Project During Pandemic

ThirdWave was selected as the most qualified from a pool of leading IT consulting firms to conduct the City’s 5-year IT Strategic Plan & Roadmap (ITSP).
Incorporated in 1866 as the City of Ventura, the City has a population of approximately 109,000. Located 30 miles south of Santa Barbara, and 60 miles northwest of Los Angeles, Ventura is a coastal community known for its historic downtown, harbor, pier, golf courses, beaches, parks, and passion for art and culture. Ventura is a full-service city providing police and fire services, parks and recreation, public works, and community development in addition to water treatment and distribution, storm water processing, and wastewater management.
The City of Ventura selected ThirdWave to carry out a comprehensive 5-year ITSP based on an extraordinary track record of delivering transformational change and value to municipalities. ThirdWave will articulate a vision for the effective use of technology to support and advance the work and resiliency of the City. Noted Aymee Barajas, ThirdWave Sr. Business Analyst: “The IT Strategic Plan will serve as a roadmap addressing the short and long-term needs of the City and will contain the actionable recommendations needed to move forward during trying times.” ThirdWave will assist in determining the future direction of the Information Technology Division and will document the resources likely to be required to support the City by utilizing their patented Rapid Workflow Methodology, the only patented government strategic planning methodology.
