Fairfield, City of Quiet Country Roads & Vineyards, retains ThirdWave for Digital Strategic Plan

ThirdWave was retained to conduct the City of Fairfield’s 5-year Digital Strategic Plan & Roadmap (DSP).
Incorporated in 1860 as the City of Fairfield, the City has a population of approximately 119,881. Located 45 miles from both San Francisco and Sacramento and just 15 miles from the world-famous Napa Valley, Fairfield is within the California Coastal Ranges and is known for its vast open spaces, award-winning golf courses, local and national wine brands, miles of trails, and marsh. Fairfield is a full-service city providing police and fire services, parks and recreation, and public works.
The City of Fairfield selected ThirdWave to carry out a comprehensive 5-year DSP based on an extraordinary track record of delivering transformational change and value to municipalities. ThirdWave will articulate a vision for the effective use of technology to support and advance the work and resiliency of the City. Noted Mitch Meier, ThirdWave Sr. Consultant: “The Digital Plan will function as a roadmap specifying the short and long-term needs of the City and will incorporate the actionable recommendations needed to move forward successfully.”
ThirdWave will assist in determining the future direction of the Information Technology Division and will document the resources likely to be required to support the City by utilizing their patented Rapid Workflow Methodology, the only patented government strategic planning methodology.
