November 7, 2023
San Rafael, CA. Marin County Assessor Recorder and Department of Finance Selects ThirdWave to Assist with Property System Business Process Analysis. The critical project will gather high level business and system requirements to replace an existing system with an aging architecture/programming language (Cobol, VB6, ASP.NET, etc.) and create an RFP for the potential replacement of the current property systems. The new property system will include functionality for the Assessor Recorder, which includes property assessments, recordings and the Department of Finance where property taxes are collected.
ThirdWave was selected over some the largest consulting firms in the US for this project because of our extensive/similar experience with the largest counties in California, Montana, and Texas – and out patented Rapid Workflow® requirements definition methodology. A total of 67 (sixty-seven) mission critical business processes will be assessed and mapped for various functions, including the Department of Finance, Auditor Controller, Tax Collection and Property Appraisals, making this what is likely the largest project of its type in the State of California.
“ThirdWave Corp is privileged to have been selected for this crucial project of scale and complexity,” noted Aymee Barajas, Sr. Business Analyst – and resident expert on Rapid Workflow®.
