ThirdWave to Carry Out 175th IT Strategic Plan for Monterey One Water

Monterey. CA.  Monterey One Water (M1W) has selected ThirdWave Corp to carry out it’s 175th IT Strategic Plan & Governance project.  M1W is the industry leader in water recycling and the first in Northern California to turn wastewater into clean, safe drinking water. M1W cleans wastewater for more than 285,000 residents and over 7,000 businesses in their service area. This equals approximately 17 MGD. M1W has helped preserve the integrity of the beautiful Monterey Bay, a National Marine Sanctuary, and help to sustain the area’s agricultural operations.

 

ThirdWave is tasked to develop a 5-year Information Technology Strategic Plan and Information Technology Governance model.  The purpose is to articulate a vision for the effective use of technology to support M1W’s work. ThirdWave will assess and validate the role of Information Technology as a strategic partner and technology enabler while ensuring the alignment of IT investments with M1W’s business objectives.

 

According to Frank Rich, Director of IS, CTO, his “biggest criteria for selecting a vendor was having a firm staff would feel comfortable speaking to openly, to see how their lives could improve.”  We anxiously await partnering with M1W, employing our patented Rapid Workflow Process Modeling® methodology to successfully execute this one hundredth-seventy-fifth IT strategic planning engagement.
