November 12, 2012
ThirdWave was awarded a contract to procure and implement a new ECMS to replace the City of Pasadena’s current system. Of twenty-four enterprise solutions identified in a previous IT Strategic Plan carried out for this two thousand person municipality, ECMS was the second most identified technology required by the City’s 16 departments.
The Los Angeles based Systems Integration firm has offered services to City of Pasadena on numerous occasions. Previous engagements included the Redesign of the City Website in 2000, the development of the City’s E-Government Strategy in 2002, and most recently the development of the City’s IT Strategic Plan in 2011.
Project objectives for this ECMS initiative include: Document Inventory, Taxonomy Development for the City Clerk, Planning Department and Pasadena Water & Power, and the development of an ECMS RFP.
