ThirdWave to carryout IT staffing assessment and strategy for the Port’s Business Information Technology Department

The Port of San Diego selected ThirdWave’s Professional Consulting Group to carry out a comprehensive IT staffing assessment and strategy. Adding to ThirdWave’s long list of previous technology projects for this key California port, ThirdWave will develop a multiple year roadmap for resourcing the Port’s IT organization to meet the business and service delivery needs of the Port and the San Diego community. The project will employ a highly structured and comprehensive methodology including: a resource allocation survey to gauge current and projected IT staff workloads, workload and IT skillset requirements, technical staff interviews and gaps analysis. The project will culminate with a BITS re-staffing strategy.
