ThirdWave to Carry Out IT Master Plan for Western Municipal Water District, Our 180th

Western Water is one of the largest public agencies in Riverside County, providing water, wastewater (sewer), and recycled water services to nearly 1 million people, both wholesale and retail customers, across 527 square miles in western Riverside County: approximately 25,000 residential and business connections.

 

The District has served the community since 1954, providing reliable water and wastewater services to wholesale and retail customers from Corona to Temecula. This regional area includes the cities of Corona, Norco, and Riverside and the water agencies serving Box Springs, Eagle Valley, Lake Elsinore, Temescal Valley, and Temecula.

  

ThirdWave is tasked to develop a 5-year Information Technology Master Plan and Governance model to guide the District in assessing, planning, procuring, implementing, and managing current and future investments in IT. Technology areas include infrastructure, technical resources, governance, operations, and IT organizational assessment. ThirdWave was selected over other leading IT consulting firms from across the nation.
